SLAB BUILDING (1 session of 2-3 hours)
You will learn slab building techniques to make a mug, box or piece of your choice. You can then either join a glazing workshop a week or so later, or, alternatively I will fire and subsequently glaze your piece ready for you to collect. The cost will be 35€/person (group of 4 or more) for a 2h30 workshop. If your group is smaller or you would like a one-on-one lesson, get in touch to find out the cost of the workshop.
COIL BUILDING (1 session of 3 hours)
You will learn coil building techniques to make a bowl, vase or piece of your choice. You can then either join a glazing workshop a week or so later, or, alternatively I will fire and subsequently glaze your piece ready for you to collect. PLAY WITH CLAY (for ALL ages, previous ceramics experience required)
Spend some time in the workshop with access to 5kg clay and tools to sculpt or make any forms you desire, I will be there to offer advice and help. There is also a wheel you can use at an added cost, and Silvi can help with lessons if you need to perfect your technique.
Block of 10h - 35€ Block of 20h - 60€
Clay cost - differs depending on type of clay, 7€ for 5kg of low firing clay, 10€ for 5kg of stoneware - feel free to bring your own clay also.
The cost of firing will be calculated based on the size of your piece (or price per shelf & full kiln).
